Bart de Witte, with two decades of experience in leadership roles at health technology giants like IBM, advocates for ethical, open digital innovations to improve global access to healthcare. As the founder of the non-profit Hippo AI Foundation, dedicated to open-source AI for healthcare, and a member of significant scientific committees, including the Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital and the FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence in Qatar, he promotes more equitable healthcare systems through knowledge sharing. Bart de Witte advises the WHO, serves as Technology Commissioner to the UN Secretary-General, and is a member of numerous think tanks, including the Walther Siegenthaler Society and the German Academy of Science and Engineering. Additionally, he teaches at various European business schools to impart his expertise.
